Internet Delivery Insurance Policy Summary
This document summarises the main features, benefits and exclusions of Internet Delivery Insurance. It does not contain the full terms and conditions, which are set out in the policy, which can be found in your certificate of cover.
what is Internet Delivery Insurance?
When using your marbles card, Internet Delivery Insurance protects your online purchases against loss or damage until they arrive at your nominated delivery address.

how much does Internet Delivery Insurance cost?
Internet Delivery Insurance is a free benefit to all marbles cardholders.

who provides this cover?
Internet Delivery insurance is provided by Hamilton Insurance Company Limited.

what am I covered for?
For any one claim, you can claim the online purchase price of the item (up to a maximum of £1,000), if the item is lost or damaged during delivery. The maximum amount you are able to claim per annum is £5,000.

when wouldn't I be covered?
There are some exclusions to the Internet Delivery Insurance cover. A summary is listed below (please refer to your certificate in the 'Exclusions' section for the full list of exclusions).

You will not be able to claim for:-
- cash or its equivalent, second-hand goods, or perishable goods;
- items which are received, checked for damage, and accepted at the nominated address;
- items with inherent product defects.

when will the policy end?
Internet Delivery Insurance will remain in force for the duration of your credit card agreement, unless Hamilton Insurance cancels your cover by giving you 30 days' written notice.

can I cancel this cover?
As Internet Delivery Insurance is free there are no cancellation rights. However, there is no obligation for you to claim under this policy in circumstances where you are entitled.

how do I make a claim?
If you wish to make a claim, please call Hamilton Insurance on 0845 603 6104 to obtain a claim form. Alternatively, please write to: Hamilton Insurance, PO Box 11206, Birmingham, B3 2YG, United Kingdom.

what should I do if I have a complaint?
If you have a question or complaint regarding your Internet Delivery Insurance, you should either write to Hamilton Insurance at PO Box 11206, Birmingham, B3 2YG, United Kingdom or call 0845 603 6104.
If we cannot resolve the matter to your satisfaction, please write to Hamilton Insurance, PO Box 78, Surrey Street, Norwich, NR1 3NU. Finally, if you remain dissatisfied, you can ask the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) at South Quay Plaza, 183 Marsh Wall, London, E14 9SR, United Kingdom (Telephone 0845 080 1800, www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk) to review your case.
Should you contact the FOS, this will not prejudice any right of legal action you may have against Hamilton Insurance.

what happens if the insurer is unable to meet its liabilities?
If Hamilton Insurance is unable to meet its obligations under this insurance, you may be able to claim compensation under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). The first £2,000 of a claim is protected in full. For amounts above this threshold, 90% of the remainder of the claim will be met.
